Shakshuka is a flavorful Middle Eastern dish made with poached eggs in a spicy tomato and bell pepper sauce, perfect for breakfast or brunch.
2 tbsp olive oil
1 piece onion
1 piece bell pepper
2 clove garlic
400 g canned tomatoes
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
4 piece eggs
1 bunch fresh parsley
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and bell pepper, cooking until softened.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Pour in the canned tomatoes and add cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Make small wells in the sauce and crack an egg into each well.
