Khash is a traditional Armenian dish made from boiled beef or lamb bones, often served with garlic, herbs, and bread. This hearty soup is celebrated for its rich flavor and is especially popular during the winter months.
2 kg beef
4 l water
10 clove Garlic
2 tbsp Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper
1 bunch herbs
Place the beef bones in a large pot and cover with water.
Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
Skim off any foam that rises to the surface.
Add salt, garlic, and black pepper to the pot.
Simmer for about 8 hours, until the broth is rich and flavorful.
Add herbs during the last hour of cooking.
Serve hot, accompanied by garlic, herbs, and bread.
